How did you find PF?
Google search
I was doing my "Travail de maturité" that consisted to make a crossbow that i could customise, but I had to understand the physics of the "bow" part of the "crossbow", so I ended up here. I gotta say, I didn't find much about an actual explanation of what basically was a materials engineering subject, just the finished formula that described the stress of the bow based on material and the secon inertia moment, but at least it helped me to know that I was in the right path. I think that it's beautiful that such a site exists where craftmanship and physics theory reunite to help others with their scintific and engineering minds. I'm glad to have joined

Welcome to PF.

Hello fellow Physics enthusiasts, I am an aeronautical engineering graduate (Bachelor's) who is interested in Physics and Mathematics, and I have been re-learning all the basics. I wanted to join a science forum, especially one dedicated to Physics and maths, to apply these subjects to my engineering studies. I hope to learn a lot through this forum. Thank you for your warm welcome.
