I'm Thomas York from Nova Scotia. I have a doctorate in Kantian ethics. I have studied the philosophy of science and the ethics of technology at the graduate level. I am interested in cosmology, particle physics, and astronomy and hope to learn more by reading articles and exchanges on this forum, and possibly contributing where I can. Reading the books of Paul Davies years ago got me interested in these topics. I would say my level is that of the well-informed layman. The way in which modern physics and science have influenced philosophy and theology is of great interest to me. I am building a small multi-wave observatory (optical, radio). The radio telescope will consist of 32 copper dipoles, located in the wilderness, out of the range of most RFI.
