Hi all,

How can I excitation - ionization solid metal ?
May by radioactive material which is too soft.

Sorry, but question doesn't make much sense as asked.

The closest I can think of are spark and arc atomic emission spectroscopy.
 
I tried with laser diode. I'd like to use microwave tube in ultra low level but it need to calculate some value but is difficult.

So, I'm thinking if I put on metal some radioactive too soft. If you know some material which it becomes radioactive when I powered it.
