SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the legitimacy of the "Soul Equation," which is criticized as pseudoscience. Participants reference the Schrödinger equation and express skepticism about the equation's scientific validity, suggesting it lacks credible backing. The term is associated with Deepak Chopra's concepts of vibrations and quantum consciousness, which further fuels the debate on its scientific merit. Ultimately, the consensus leans towards dismissing the "Soul Equation" as nonsensical and not suitable for serious discussion.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of the Schrödinger equation in quantum mechanics
  • Familiarity with concepts of pseudoscience
  • Knowledge of Deepak Chopra's theories on quantum consciousness
  • Awareness of the criteria for scientific legitimacy
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the validity of pseudoscience in contemporary discussions
  • Explore the implications of quantum mechanics in popular science
  • Investigate Deepak Chopra's contributions to the discourse on consciousness
  • Learn about the criteria used to evaluate scientific theories
USEFUL FOR

Individuals interested in the intersection of science and spirituality, skeptics of pseudoscientific claims, and those studying the public perception of quantum mechanics.

It is the first I have heard about it I just wanted to find out if pf have come across it.
If it sounds like nonsense, feels like nonsense then it probably is. There was a paper that had the Shrodinger equation, expansion??
I can't post it because of my weird settings at weekend.
Perhaps it can be added to the banned list as pseudoscience?

“The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose.
An evil soul producing holy witness
Is like a villain with a smiling cheek,
A goodly apple rotten at the heart.
O, what a goodly outside falsehood hath!”

― William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice

Perhaps not as diabolical, some cite physics/math for their purposes too. The "Soul Equation' doesn't look like a good topic for our forum.

That is all I need to know.
Apologies to have wasted your time

The topic is funny. I remember a woman who sold her soul on eBay, and another one who weighed it. IIRC it was about 50 grams or so.

Assuming Soul and Weird were names of physicists working on the same problem, Weird-Soul equation could be legit.

Who is on first?

Hi Borek
It was cited as 'the soul equation' it's Deepak Chora 'science' vibrations, quantum consciousness ...
You can find it on the internet, I did not want to post the link.
I wanted to give this person the benefit of the doubt but at the same time I was worried about wasting people's time with nonsense.
It's nonsense.
Feel free to delete the thread if need be.
