The discussion revolves around seeking reliable source code for quantum key distribution (QKD) algorithms, specifically for a project in quantum cryptography. Participants clarify the request for code that simulates QKD protocols, with mentions of the BB84 protocol as a reference. A suggestion is made to explore the QKD simulator website, although its effectiveness remains uncertain. There is also a note on inspecting the code through browser tools, as the programs are written in Java. Overall, the conversation highlights the challenges in finding suitable QKD simulation resources.

Am currently working on a project relating to quantum cryptography. will be pleased if someone will help with source code for quantum key distribution algorithm

What do you mean by source code? Do you mean a piece of code that simulates a QKD protocol?
You should be able to find plenty of information about e.g. the BB84 protocol online.

well thanks for the information... But piece of code to simulate QKD protocol will also be appreciated

A quick Google search pointed me to https://www.qkdsimulator.com/
I have no idea if it is any good and/or is what you need.
Thanks very much, not really what am looking for..., i think i have come across this stuff

You can check the code by mouse right click and check the code and inspect since the programs are written in Java.

Insights auto threads is broken atm, so I'm manually creating these for new Insight articles.
