Well, I just registered in the Physics forum. One of my senior friend suggested the side once. And, well, I needed some help regarding oscilloscope. And I didn't know where to turn. I was doing an experiment in our lab which goes by "The transient response of an RC circuit".Here I was given the device called oscilloscope for the first time ever.and I kind of have absolute no idea about it.I tried to bring on some signals but they were apparently no where near an RC circuit response. The Instructor weren't really helpful. And I am at a fix. I know the theories of them. But just don't understand the way how I should manipulate the oscilloscope in my favorable signal.I just wanted to know where can I learn about using oscilloscope...

Thanks in Advance

The above link gives a brief tutorial on both RC circuits and oscilloscope operation.

It even shows how to measure the output of an RC circuit with an oscilloscope.
