SUMMARY

This discussion focuses on labeling curves in Mathematica plots. The user seeks a straightforward method to display labels next to each curve, specifically using numerical identifiers like (1), (2), etc. They reference a solution found in the Wolfram library, which appears complex, indicating a desire for a simpler alternative. The conversation highlights the need for efficient labeling techniques in Mathematica for better visualization.

PREREQUISITES
  • Familiarity with Mathematica 12.0 plotting functions
  • Understanding of graphical options in Mathematica
  • Basic knowledge of curve plotting and labeling techniques
  • Experience with Wolfram Language syntax
NEXT STEPS
  • Research "Mathematica Labeling Curves" for specific functions and examples
  • Explore "Wolfram Language Graphics Options" for advanced labeling techniques
  • Learn about "Mathematica Plot Legends" for alternative labeling methods
  • Investigate "Wolfram Library Resources" for additional plotting tools and tips
USEFUL FOR

Mathematica users, data visualizers, and anyone looking to enhance their graph labeling techniques in scientific and mathematical plots.

hello, I want to plot a set of curves on the same graph, and I want to give each of the curves labels, i.e. (1),(2),...

Does anyone know how to make labels appear by the curves? Or is there another labelling scheme I can use?
