We have had many high school students asking about getting into college. So I thought that I would highlight the current situation of the difficulties of getting into top colleges around the US. This news article, while predominantly is from the perspective of Long Islanders, is also quite relevant in describing the present trend.

It is why I have described in my essay on why one needs a clear strategy in college applications, and not to only aim for those "brand name" schools. This advice was relevant 20 years ago, and it is definitely relevant especially today.
