For help with the operation of the PF, hover your mouse over INFO at the top of the page, and click Help/How-To.

Note that we require users to do some research and reading on their own before posting questions here. We do not support overly broad questions from users like "Explain how XXX works in detail for me". Do some reading at Hyperphysics or Wikipedia or similar encyclopedia-type websites first, and then post links to your reading here and ask specific questions about the parts you don't understand yet.

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
