How did you find PF?
Searching for an anwer to the question of what happen when you want to change an upper to a lower index (and vice versa) in a Levi-Civita symbol (as opposed the Levi-Civita tensor)
Hi. Just joined. Looks like a fun and helpful forum.

Welcome to PF, David.

Hi. I posted a question to the forum and got a lot of good information on how to work on a problem from the MIT general relativity online course. I'm still working through that course and wondered if there might be anyone who would like to join me and also work together on the problem sets. I'd like to send a post out about that here, but I also want to respect any rules and constraints for the forum. Here's what I'd like to post, probably in the general relativity group.

I'm working through MIT's online graduate (first year?) general relativity course. The video lectures are very good and the subject is fascinating. I got through about through the 6th of 23 lectures when I decided I'd better go back and work through the problems sets assigned to that point. That turned out to be a really good ideaa because (duh!) it really tested my facility with the calculations and the problem sets also do a great job of expanding on the lectures. The problem sets are also nontrivial and I do occasionally get stumped for a while. There are online resources but it would be great and much more fun to have someone else to do this with. I'm on Vashon Island in Washington (near Seattle), but my partner in physics crime could be anywhere. Any takers? I'm fine with you having to spend some time catching up, and happy to help if I can along the way until you do..

Let me know if this is okay.

Thanks

David Lieberworth
