How did you find PF?
The internet
My name is aaron and im an industrial electrician with a background in mechanics. I study physics for fun, particularlly precession, and i also enjoy challenging modern concepts. After all everything is just a model. People probably thought the Wright brothers were crazy. Anyways, i think about these things when there arent any machines to fix. Thanks!

Physics news on Phys.org
Welcome to the forum. I suggest you read the rules. We are all about physics as it is currently understood and personal theories are against the rules.

How else do you move forward without chalenging what is current? Its an honest question, not trying to spark an argument.

I do these things to get a better and better understanding

You are missing the point. Challenging the status quo is fine, it's just not what we do here on PF. This is a forum to help people understand science as it is currently understood, not to develop new theories. If you have a different view of how things work, that challenges the status quo, get it published in a legitimate journal and then we can talk.

Einsteins theory started out personal. This should be about spreading understanding and apart of that is going over things that contradict.

Even if im posting in general discussion? I have questions. This place has answers.

Questions are fine, regardless of which subforum you post it. Saying you think existing theories are wrong is not.

I dont think i can compete with einstein but i think at the end of the day phyics is limited by and like language. Cant ever fully describe something.

Here is my first question for you-
Imagine a metal, four-axle, crossbar-structured aparatus with four spinning solid metal disks with angular momentum pointing outward. Each wheel is attached at the end of each of the four axles, such that the face of each wheel is perpendicular to its attached axle, all of which are centrally connected by a bevel gear powered by a motor , ensuring equal angular momentum among the 4 wheels, assuming equal inertias.

Now imagine a ship that is a copy of the crossbar and 4 wheels but mirrored across a horizontal plane, and the four wheels on the bottom deck have angular momentum pointing in instead of out. The two decks are vertically coupled by a third main motor where the upper deck is attacked to the main motor's shaft while the lower deck is attached to the motor's housing such that the two angularly accelerate independently from each other to produce a torque pointing up in the upper crossbar and an equal torque on the lower crossbar pointing down. What happens as a result of these torques in relation to the whole object? The angular momentums seem to always want to be in the direction of the torque so could vertical lift be possible, or would it just bend in on itself? If nothing happens and its suggested that its because the moments and torques cancel, then how can there be movement if everything cancles out? I dont have the resources to make it so im left with theory and i may need a better understanding. Thanks!

Ill just have to be aware of the blurry line between questioning and making it sound like i think something is flat out wrong.

Questions should be posted in the appropriate subforum, not here in the into section. Please read the rules.

Always start with the assumption that existing theory is correct and if you are puzzled as to WHY it is correct, then ask.

You literally just said questions are fine regardless of the subforum.

And he said to read the rules. The rules for the Member Intro forum is that this forum is just for short introductions. And do not try to get around the PF rules for valid technical discussions. That will end badly.

And please take to heart my comments in our parallel PM conversation. Thank you. This short  Intro thread is done.

Update -- after more PM exchanges with this new user, they are not a good match for PF. (Plus some other alarming stuff...)
