Wolf Prize 2026

I was not expecting this that soon but Wolf Prize was just announced. The winners are
* Immanuel F. Bloch and Jun Ye for ultracold atom lattices and optical lattice clocks

Halzen's from the Quarks and Leptons famous textbook? indeed, wow.
 
It looks like Halzen was already scheduled to be a plenary speaker
at the upcoming AAPT meeting in New Orleans,
before the Nobel prize was awarded.
His biography on the AAPT website below doesn't mention the Nobel Prize.

Nobel Prize in Chemistry is interesting as it is related to how they mostly solve the problem of chirality of molecules on Earth.
