Hello,
I need to reprint a book scanning a previous edition, could you tell me if I can prepare the PDF at home by myself on my laptop, spending little money, with an OCR software?
Is there any difference between abbyy and presto?
Epson Bx 305 F uses abbyy, whilst Sx 430 uses presto, do you think I can reach my goal with one of these cheap scanners?
Thanks

I don't know about Presto, but ABBYY Fine Reader doesn't work well with books with formulas, like maths or physics texts.
