How did you find PF?
I found Physics Forums by googling questions about physics, questions which I have a lot of.
I always have had a burning desire to understand what reality is and how it has come about, Have studied philosophy (on my own not academically) for many years and this led my to compare what I gleaned from there to physics, especially the both the theories of Special and General Relativity and, of course, Quantum Mechanics and it numerous interpretations. I have no mathematical training, and did not do well in math in high school, but I have endeavored to learn as much as I can of physics on the conceptual level, which I started with the basics of what is energy, force, mass, inertia, motion and momentum. Soon I moved on from Newtonian physics to the Theories of Relativity and Quantum Mechanics and have kept forging ahead trying to deepen my understanding.

Welcome to PF.

Please be sure to read through the PF Rules (see INFO at the top of the page). We are a strongly moderated website for discussing mainstream science.

For general technical questions, post them in the appropriate technical forum (start the thread by filling out the form at the top of that forum) and include links to your reading that you've been doing and ask questions about that reading. In some of the technical forums the thread title will include a "prefix" that you can set to B/I/A for Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced for the level that you would like the replies to be. I is undergraduate university level, and A is graduate school level and above.

Hello, I’m joining from Turkey and I’m 28 years old. I discovered my interest in science through a YouTube video (@Veritasium) , and everything I’ve learned since then excites me so much that I feel like a child wanting to share every new piece of knowledge with those around me. Although I don’t yet have full mastery of mathematical formulas or physical laws, my passion for learning constantly drives me to explore and understand more. No matter how complex the world of science may be, my...
