How did you find PF?
I found out about the Physics forum while searching for an answer to my question on Google. I thought it was just another forum where ANYONE gives answers related/unrelated to the question, but I was wrong.
As an engineer and physics enthusiast, I was looking for a forum to discuss particular and advanced physics topics. And this forum satisfies that pretty well. Earlier, platforms like Quora, Reddit, StackExchange, etc., were available, but focused and detailed physics threads were uncommon. I am glad to have found this platform. No, this is not the first time I stumbled upon this platform, I had done it earlier as well but didn't explore it enough to see what exactly it is. Now, I am looking forward to participating in discussions and contributing to the community while enriching myself in return.

Welcome to PF.

Hello everyone, I was advised to join this community while seeking guidance on how to navigate the academic world as an independent researcher. My name is Omar, and I'm based in Groningen The Netherlands. My formal physics education ended after high school, but I have dedicated the last several years to developing a theoretical framework from first principles. My work focuses on a topological field theory (which I call Swirl-String Theory) that models particles as knotted vortex...
