To maintain balance while standing in a moving truck, the man must adjust his stance based on the truck's speed changes. At 9 km/hr, a slight lean into the direction of motion may be sufficient to counteract any potential tipping. Conversely, at 45 km/hr, a more pronounced lean and a stable stance are necessary to prevent losing balance due to increased inertia. It is crucial to emphasize that attempting this scenario in real life can be extremely dangerous, as sudden changes in speed can lead to serious injuries. Safety should always be the priority, and such experiments should not be conducted outside of controlled environments.

A man is standing on the platform of a truck moving at 36 km/hr, in what angle and in what direction the man should the man stand to avoid falling if, in 2 seconds the speed of the truck changes to:
(a) 9 km/hr?
(b) 45 km/hr ?

We must have a caveat here that no one should try this problem at home by standing in a moving truckbed as sudden unexpected accelerations of decelerations of the truck can launch you into the air with disastrous consequences when you hit the ground.
