How did you find PF?
from google in general when I was looking for something almost gathers the physics people
Hi everyone:oldsmile:
I'm a third year physics student in Birzeit University, recently knew about PF, hoping this website can help me deepen more in the world of physics, also to dig in the computer science thing.
I work at the observatory in my University as a member in it ( I present lectures, able to use all the Telescopes we have, and learning astrophotography nowadays).
I really love physics and it's a way for me to know how universe works!
it's obvious I have interest in astronomy, astrophysics, cosmology, but I also love other aspects of it (particle physics, the tiny stuff, in general QM), and maybe others! I didn't take the QM course yet but my knowledge about it from what I learned in Modern Physics course and my searching here and there.
hope to know more people in here sharing the same passion with me

Welcome to PF.

Nice! And welcome to PF.

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
