Proving Pluto's Orbit Inside Neptune's - Maths Investigation

Hi guys

Im currently investigating planetary orbits in maths and one of our problems is to prove that Pluto spends a good deal of its time inside the orbit of Neptune.

If anyone could help that would be great.

Pluto has highly epliptical orbit so somtimes it crosses into Neptunes orbit while Neptune goes outside of it's Pluto's orbit.
I'am not sure if that answers your question.
