Question on Practical Electricity

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

    2. Relevant equations

    Not sure...?

    3. The attempt at a solution

I believe the answer should be A or B.

I'm thinking the live and earth wires will form a complete circuit. Since there is very low resistance, a huge current will be drawn, breaking the fuse.

...but it could be B since earth wire is attached to metal case & now the earth wire is connected to the live wire?

    ...?

    Thanks in advance!

The live wire (brown) is connected to the earth wire. What would happen if you touch a live wire when standing barefoot on a wet floor? (Do not try it!)
