Recommended Books for Beginners in Physics for Enthusiasts

Just saying hi, I am just an enthusiast in physics. I don't work in any science field. This just seems to be a good place to learn and ask questions. please try be easy on me, i am very new to this. Just been reading books in the last few months. I am reading -The elegant universe by Brian Greene and just finished reading Hawking Brief history of time. Thankyou in advance for your help.
