This book is really good.

It starts with special relativity, then goes towards general relativity without tensors.
In the end he introduces tensors for SR and GR.
It also contains some particle physics in the cosmology/inflation part.
The problems are really good (contains solutions of selected problems and answers to all review questions).

It's pretty good for beginners.
