AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on seeking resources for researching spacesuit design. Participants recommend starting with NASA and Air Force websites for preliminary information. They also mention the potential difficulty in accessing certain research due to its association with private companies or military sources. Suggestions include considering Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to obtain relevant documents. Recently I've started to investigate Spacesuit Design and different aspects of it. I was just wondering if anyone could provide me with some preliminary books or websites that I could use to get my research going, I would greatly appreciate it.

P.S If my post is in the wrong forum just tell me and I'll move it to the correct one, this is my first post on here

Thanks!

A lot of this research won't be the easiest to get ahold of, since it involves private companies or military/federal white papers.

You might want to do some research into submitting FOIA requests.

As far as preliminary information, NASA or Air Force websites might have articles and information you could use.

Thanks for the responses guys.

Hey, I am Andreas from Germany. I am currently 35 years old and I want to relearn math and physics. This is not one of these regular questions when it comes to this matter. So... I am very realistic about it. I know that there are severe contraints when it comes to selfstudy compared to a regular school and/or university (structure, peers, teachers, learning groups, tests, access to papers and so on) . I will never get a job in this field and I will never be taken serious by "real"...
Yesterday, 9/5/2025, when I was surfing, I found an article The Schwarzschild solution contains three problems, which can be easily solved - Journal of King Saud University - Science ABUNDANCE ESTIMATION IN AN ARID ENVIRONMENT https://jksus.org/the-schwarzschild-solution-contains-three-problems-which-can-be-easily-solved/ that has the derivation of a line element as a corrected version of the Schwarzschild solution to Einstein’s field equation. This article's date received is 2022-11-15...
