RIP John Lodge (82), bassist and lyricist with the Moody Blues

The Moody Blues singer and bass guitarist, John Lodge, has died (Friday, October 10, 2025) at the age of 82, his family have said.

Lodge, who was born in Birmingham (20 July 1943), played on some of the group’s best-known songs including Nights in White Satin, Question and Isn’t Life Strange.

Moody Blues was a great group of musicians! Hugely popular in U.S.
