Does anyone know what kind of salary an accelerator operator makes when starting out?

The 2007 salary range for radiation therapists is about $65,200 to $84,200 a year in Alberta.

I believe they make more in the US.

No, I mean the persons in charge of day to day operation of particle accelerators. They usually work in shifts. For example see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accelerator_operator .

In particular I am wondering what an operator makes at a lab like fermilab or brookhaven.
