Science fiction book with Brasil in the title by Ian Mc

[EnumaElish]

New SF book with "Brasil" in the title...

... written by Ian Mc[can't remember full last name].

Was recently reviewed in the NYT Sunday Book Review (this past weekend).

Anybody got a clue?

Obviously, a gay thriller with the title: "Boyz from Brasil".

(I'm not sure Mr. Ira Levin will be pleased, though..)

No, that was not it.

Could this be it? Brasyl, by Ian McDonald.

Thanks, that's it!

BTW, part of my OP was inaccurate, it wasn't on the NYT book review. (Onset of Alzheimer's?)

Has anyone read it?
