Using NICER data, scientists have obtained the first precise and dependable measurements of both a pulsar’s size and its mass, as well as the first-ever map of hot spots on its surface.

The Dutch team's model looks a lot like the star and crescent. If it turns out that the spot has 5 points can Turkey claim this pulsar or do they have to actually plant a flag in person?
