I apologize because I realize that the obesity epidemic isn't limited to the US. Processed food like McD etc is found everywhere in the world, although perhaps it's only become a lifestyle on the "Western" hemisphere. This looks (on my first glimpse, remember my tendency to run with a "half wind") as a breakthrough though:

A Single Dose of Lilly's PCSK9 Base Editor, VERVE-102, Reduced PCSK9 by up to 88% and LDL-C by up to 62%, with Durable Effects Supporting its Potential as a One-Time Treatment for Hypercholesterolemia

EDIT: Oh, and the "half wind" thing is a Danish idiom. Don't know why I thought that was a good idea, but I'm sure you know what I mean.

I think an honorable "etc" mention in your "like McD etc" has to be The Heart Attack Grill. They likely have an antidote for anything that Lilly can conjure up. Let me contact them and see how receptive they would be for opening a more "Eastern" branch. I wouldn't want an entire hemisphere to be missing out on their special lifestyle.
