The discussion focuses on the search for academic papers or resources detailing energy level diagrams for Lithium Nitrite (LiNO2) and di-oxygen (O2), specifically with energy measured in electron volts (eV). The original poster has already attempted to find this information through general internet searches and Science Direct without success. Participants are encouraged to provide any relevant references or leads. The request highlights a gap in accessible literature on this specific topic. Assistance in locating these diagrams would be greatly valued.

Seeking papers on energy levels for LiNO2 (lithium nitrite) and O2 (di-oxygen)
Hi

For a personal project, I am seeking papers or information on the energy level diagrams (where the y-axis is energy (eV)) for Lithium Nitrite (LiNO2) and di-oxygen (O2).

I tried the internet and science direct (www.sciencedirect.com) but to no avail.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I am slowly going through the book 'What Is a Quantum Field Theory?' by Michel Talagrand. I came across the following quote: One does not" prove” the basic principles of Quantum Mechanics. The ultimate test for a model is the agreement of its predictions with experiments. Although it may seem trite, it does fit in with my modelling view of QM. The more I think about it, the more I believe it could be saying something quite profound. For example, precisely what is the justification of...
