I'm currently studying electrical engineering, I had an interest in telecommunications and power engineering, and my dad reckoned it was a good field to study. I also have an interest in engines and engine development, do you think it's possible to find a job concerning engine development with a degree in electrical engineering instead of mechanical?

I would imagine if you focus on the control system part of EE you will have a descent chance to work with some sort of engines

You practically need a degree in electrical engineering to service a car these days don't you?

The service seems to consist in substituting a new gizmo for an old version whose software has stopped working after 15,000 Km for reasons on one knows.
