Simplifying differential equation coefficients

Can someone show me how we go from the first step to the second step? What happened to the 0.196 in front of the e?

If you differentiate the left side of the second equation you will see you get the .196 from the product rule and chain rule.

Do it backwards i.e. differentiate the second line LHS and you should see.
