Torque needed to accelerate an 11m trolley to 40 mpm

Dear All,

We have a trolley with double drive (trolley size 11mX1.7m)
wheel dia 175 mm
Total wt. on trolley = 7 Tones.
Speed of trolley 40 mpm
Distance to travel 8 m
Drive - direct mounted on wheel

Please help me to calculate how much torque will needed to start the trolley and get the speed of 40mpm in details

Start by drawing a free body diagram with all the forces and dimensions.

Since you have the mass of the trolley and its intended velocity, you can find the resultant force needed to carry it 8 m using energy methods.
