Even though my ipod charges perfectly fine, my itunes program won't recognized that my itunes is synced into computer and so consequently, I am unable to sync songs on ipod. I would call apple but they are close. Any suggestions?

I have this happen sometimes. A reboot usually works or try reopening itunes and plug the ipod into a different USB port.
