Virtual mechanical engineering. The best designs have a visible ingenuity sorely lacking in software engineering. I once wrote a program that opened four relays. In twenty years that was my only tactile feedback.



I like the narrator's wry ironic tone about his pastime. As he drifts into the competitive side of things it consumes so much of his efforts. "I've got a job and two kids" he exclaims.

Enough people were charmed by this vid that he doubled the sales of the software.

I can see how this would be dangerous to start on. Especially for me. I’ve deliberately not played computer games since Half-Life 2 because I know it will consume all my time.
