What are the benefits of refreshing math knowledge as an adult?

I am 30 years old and I thought to refresh my math knowledge. I am glad to be part of this forum, seems very active!

What areas of math are you interested?

I bought the Math 1001 book by Elwes awhile back. It summarizes a lot of fields highlighting unsolved problems which is quite fascinating. It might picque your interest.

I 've just started studying "Michael Spivak Calculus" and I find it very difficult. So, pretty much I 'd like some further explanation - help to some of the exercises.
 
There's a website called Mathispower4u.yolasite.com that hosts a collection of short videos on various Calculus topics that may help.

Also there's Khans Academy too.

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
