What can be different options for a MS in applied Math ?

AI Thread Summary
When seeking a Master’s in Applied Mathematics after completing a Bachelor’s in Mathematics, the choice of program largely depends on personal interests and geographical preferences. For those interested in fields like Artificial Intelligence and Cryptography, identifying specific subjects enjoyed during undergraduate studies can guide program selection. In the Netherlands, a wide range of applied mathematics master’s programs is available. In Canada, several universities, such as the University of Waterloo and the University of British Columbia, offer terminal master's programs in applied mathematics. Prospective students should consider their location and whether they are open to studying abroad to find the best fit for their academic and career goals.

It depends on where you want to do this and what your interests are. For example, in the Netherlands you can pursue a master in pretty much any field of applied mathematics of your choice. What subjects did you enjoy during your bachelor? What field(s) of application have your interest?

I have interest in Artificial Intelligence and Cryptography. I have taken a few courses on neuro-science and enjoy doing them

To the OP:

It would help if you could tell us where you are located, and whether you are interested in pursuing graduate studies outside of your country or not, since it is difficult to answer your question otherwise.

In Canada (where I'm from), there are a number of universities that offer terminal masters programs in applied math. Here are a couple of examples:
