I have a homework question:
Find (1 − [itex]\sqrt{3}[/itex] i)1−i and P((1 − [itex]\sqrt{3}[/itex] i)1−i).

I don't know what does the P stand for, And i can't find it in the textbook either.

Thanks

Welcome to PF, nickolas2730!

I have no clue what P stands for either.
I dare to say it is not a standard mathematical operator or function.
So you'll have to find it in your notes or else.

Thank you so much, i have handed it in already lol
and waiting for answer and see what on Earth does that P stand for

sure!
btw, thanks for helping me for the homework question b4

P ((1 −√3i)1−i) = e(1−i)Log(1−√3i)
= e(1−i)(ln 2− ∏/3 i)
= eln 2−∏/3 e−(ln 2+∏/3)i

Funny.
This is just the evaluation of the expression.
Without P() it would say exactly the same.
