TL;DR
wondering if motion theory is real or just nonsense
Hey, guys. What is "motion theory?" I heard 2 people babbling in a youtube video about "motion theory" and about how it explains physics better. I'm wondering is this just crackpot nonsense from "conspiracy theorists" or an actual topic to learn about? They kept talking about motion of loops but after 5 minutes didn't explain what that might mean. Can anyone comment on this?

Isn't plain old mechanics a "motion theory"?

If someone says that something outside of physics explains physics better, then 100% this person is a crackpot.

I think you answered your own question.

Seriously though, maybe a citation would be good. We might glean some hints from it about what they mean.

Note: There are Youtube videos out there that seem to purport some New Age woo called Motion Theory.
