SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the connection between Ramanujan and the concept of infinity, specifically referencing an equation that suggests infinity equals 1.5. Ewen seeks clarification on this equation, which is linked to the Euler Zeta function. A resource is provided that elaborates on this relationship, highlighting Ramanujan's contributions to mathematical concepts involving infinity.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of the Euler Zeta function
  • Familiarity with Ramanujan's mathematical theories
  • Basic knowledge of mathematical equations and limits
  • Concept of infinity in mathematics
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the Euler Zeta function and its implications in number theory
  • Study Ramanujan's contributions to mathematics, particularly his work on infinite series
  • Explore mathematical proofs involving the concept of infinity
  • Investigate the relationship between Ramanujan's work and modern mathematical theories
USEFUL FOR

Mathematicians, students of mathematics, and anyone interested in the philosophical and theoretical implications of infinity in mathematical contexts.

hey
I was browsing the web a while ago and I found an equation for infinity to equal 1.5 when subjected to a equation. however I can no longer find this. I was wondering if anyone knew what it was and if they could explain how it works.
many thanks
Ewen
