What kind of physicist is Nassim Haramein?

[Uranus]

I was wondering what branch of physics his education could fall under... Applied, theoretical, ect. I admire his work and I want to know what degree to get to pitch in my two cents into a similar field.

He's what we call a "crackpot". No real physics there, sorry.
