In summary, a scientist's interest in biosciences and beyond is often sparked by a curiosity and fascination with the natural world and a desire to understand the complexities of life. This interest can also be influenced by personal experiences, such as encountering a particular organism or observing a particular phenomenon, as well as a desire to make meaningful contributions to society through scientific research and discovery. Scientists in this field are driven by a passion for knowledge and a desire to uncover the mysteries of the living world, from the smallest microorganisms to the vast ecosystems that sustain life on Earth.

Hi, I got my degrees in Biology, Math and genetics as preparation for going into medical school decades ago, then I switched to law school. I've still retained my nerdy interest in many areas of science, and am happy to find this forum!

Can't wait to delve further into biosciences, especially love neuroscience, genetics, environmental science, and astrophysics.
