SUMMARY

For students preparing for aerospace engineering, the most beneficial courses to take next are Quantum Mechanics and Public Speaking. While Analog Circuits may provide some foundational knowledge, Quantum Mechanics is essential for understanding advanced aerospace concepts, and Public Speaking is crucial for effective communication in engineering fields. Students should also consult with academic advisors to ensure course transferability and alignment with their target school's curriculum.

PREREQUISITES
  • Linear Algebra
  • Differential Equations
  • Basic understanding of Quantum Mechanics
  • Familiarity with engineering school curricula
NEXT STEPS
  • Research Quantum Mechanics courses relevant to aerospace engineering
  • Explore Public Speaking classes offered at your institution
  • Consult with academic advisors about course transfer policies
  • Review the aerospace engineering curriculum of your target engineering school
USEFUL FOR

Aerospace engineering students, prospective engineering school transfers, and anyone seeking to enhance their academic preparation for engineering disciplines.

So I will probably transfer to an engineering school for next fall, but in the mean time I want to take the best classes I can to prepare. I am taking Linear Algebra and already had Diff. Eqns.

Out of:

Analog Circuits (a computer engineering course)
Quantum Mechanics (a physics course)
Public Speaking (I haven't had any yet and I think most schools expect it for engineers.)

Which would be most helpful? I am looking at aerospace engineering probably. I will take any suggestions if my school offers the class.

Thanks,
Ben

What you need to do is contact an advisor at the school your interested in. See what courses will transfer and what you can prepare for. You can also decide on classes by the schools curriculum on aerospace engineering--I am sure they have a website you can visit.

It sounds like you have the mathematics covered so far.
