It seems from what i have read that this obnoxious behavior has been happening for centuries , it is more than odorous it is a terrible habit, i for one can not stay in a room with a person that does it.
And it promotes dishonesty one blaming another for the heinous act, please if you absolutely have to do it in public come clean and admit it.:frown:

It's a natural part of growing up and sometimes can't be helped.

We need to be more tolerant of those who do it because it can be traumatic to some people.

To gas perchance to reap the whirlwind of a fragrance beyond all fragrances...

I did it in my truck right before getting out to go into the dentist's office the other day. It suckerpunched me in the face when I came back out 40 minutes later to leave.

Long ago when I was in my last year of primary school I felt a huge pressure building up in my gut. During an English exam. It was rather distracting so I decided that letting it out slowly and silently would be a bad idea at all. How terribly wrong I was. It might as well have been a thunderclap in the silence of the room, because I assure you it was LOUD. Anyway, this was instantly followed by guffaws from everyone and looks in the general direction of the explosion. I don't know what I was thinking but I spoke the words that Shaggy would years later... "it wasn't me". The bloke behind me was a very quick to point a finger, only to have my version of events backed up by the bloke who sat behind him. That's the way the cookie crumbles when you're twelve...

I prefer to do it in crowded elevators right before I get off. Then I spend the rest of the day pondering whether they ultimately blamed me or decided upon one of the remaining elevator passengers to blame. And if they did blame one of the remaining passengers, I ponder which passenger they most likely blamed. I wonder how many males get blamed vs how many females get blamed. Do the cute chicks ever get blamed? It literally makes it difficult to get any work accomplished the rest of the day due to all of the pondering about the aftermath of my flatulence.
