I wasn't sure where to post this but here's the question.
I have to take a 2 hour bus ride about once a week at night. since i can't really read then i thought that it'd be cool if i could get some lectures or something in a mp3, wma, wav... format.
Does anyone know of audio media on the internet that teaches physics or math? (without needing any visuals such as blackboards)?
Thanks.

Maybe you could download and listen to podcasts.

This is rather basic:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/audio/physics/index.shtml

http://www.perimeterinstitute.ca/Events/Evolving_Laws/Audio/
http://www.perimeterinstitute.ca/en/Events/Introduction_to_Quantum_Gravity/View_Lectures/
http://www.perimeterinstitute.ca/en/Events/Superstring_Cosmology_Mini-course/View_Lectures/
If you keep browsing through that website, skipping through the years (left section of the page), you'll find several audio lectures on various topics.

iTunes Music Store has some GREAT ones.

Check those out, and if you have an iPod it's pretty nicely integrated and iTunes has the best managing system I know of for podcasts.

You could record yourself reading aloud a big table of integrals. :P

I know that iTunes does some science podcasts from BBC and NPR, all of which are usually good.

I think that may be a little too pricey for this application

http://www.archive.org/details/audio - totally free mp3 files of many kinds. Some lectures, Some crappy music, some great music, some archives of Old Time Radio shows, podcasts, classic literature read out loud, poetry, you name it. It might take a bit of digging to find stuff you like, but hey, it's free. Try a few keyword searches.

"physics" returns 106 hits - http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=physics%20AND%20mediatype%3Aaudio

"mathematics" 36 hits (although some of them are for song titles) - http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=mathematics%20AND%20mediatype%3Aa udio

I've been filling my iPod with old ('40s & '50s era) detective and sci-fi radio shows these days. Hours of mindless entertainment.
