I think that is what this door is made from, the thing is it looks terrible tatty compared to the window, i have tried the usual cleaners the thing is the door has loads of tiny scratches that hold the dirt, is there some way to polish these out?

Maybe you could use an airbrush in the cracks?
 
Stiff nylon brush and some elbow grease.
