Friends' messages

For some reason, I'm not allowed to start a new thread in the Feedback section, so I have to do it here. I just checked in and responded to one request for friendship and one PM. The bar under my log-in box indicated that there were also 2 friend messages. Those were gone when I got back from responding to the PM. How do I find them so that I can answer? I don't want anyone to think that I'm ignoring them, but I have no idea of where to look for my inputs. :confused:
