Hello. Are there any chemical reactions of the Briggs-Rauscher variety that will continue to oscillate indefinitely with continued agitation? B-R fades out after a few minutes of agitation, and I am curious as to whether there are oscillating reactions that will continue to oscillate as long as energy is somehow supplied, either through heat or simple stirring.

Any analysis of oscillating reaction mechanisms is welcome as well. Thank you very much for your replies.

Have you looked into the Belousov-Zhabotinsky family?
