1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
Two ships, A and B are sailing along straight routes with constant velocities. At 10 o clock morning, ship B is 8 nautical miles from A and its bearing from A is 315°. At 10.15 in the morning, ship B is 6 nautical miles from A and its bearing from A is 320°. Find the direction of velocity B relative to A.
2. Relevant equations
3. The attempt at a solution
My answer: W30.5°N, but answer given if E30.5°S, what answer do you guys get?
