Find-out traffic for obscure websites

I know that alexa.com provides the traffic patterns for the top 500 websites on the net.

And I know that there is software that will determine the traffic for my site.

But, is there a site/software that will provide me with the traffic patterns for any site I choose?

I don't think so, unless you are sniffing the taffic coming to that particular web site..

Some people could argue that Alexa works by using spyware on your PC
