Mechanics & Statics book - Need Suggestions

Hey guys,

Im doing mechanics and statics at a university grade level as part of my product design course (currently in year one). Can anyone recommend a good book as the one that i saw not only had tiny font that i couldnt read easily, but also was written in such a way as to send you instantly to sleep after reading it for 5 seconds.

If you have any suggestions it would be much appreciated as i need a book asap,

James

Yeah, I didn't like my book either.

amazon.com has some listed, and this one popped up:
http://www.amazon.com/Engineering-Me.../dp/0471406465

They seem to be expensive compared to the one I used. But it was poorly written, and quite thin.

You might want to find a library that shelves some of this books, and browse before you purchase.
