Hi all,

I was just looking at some video lectures from MIT and was wondering if there were any other good online physics video lectures or programs around. Maybe it is possible to start some list of them (I think pretty much all of the links on the physics napster list above are text-based).

A few ones I have heard of are:

http://aka-ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/Physics/ -- The 8.01 (fall 1999) and 8.02 (Spring 2002) lectures

http://aka-ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/Mathematics/index.htm -- The 18.03, 18.085 and 18.06 (These are maths lectures rather than physics, and I havn`t checked them out yet so don`t know what they`re like)

http://www.vega.org.uk/series/lectures/feynman/index.php -- Three lectures from Feynman

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/elegant/program.html -- The elegant universe TV program.

Regards,

PS

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing these resources! I have also been looking for some good online physics video lectures and these seem like great options. I have heard of MIT's OpenCourseWare before and have found their lectures to be very informative and well-presented. I will definitely check out the other links you have shared as well.

In addition to these, I have also come across the Physics Girl YouTube channel which has some fun and engaging videos on various physics topics. Another option is the Khan Academy, which offers a wide range of educational videos on physics and other subjects.

It's great to see that there are so many resources available online for those interested in physics. Thank you for starting this list and I'm sure it will be helpful for many others looking to explore physics through video lectures.
